Scare fright conflict, e.g., with quite unexpectedly appearing danger (female reaction, the male individual would immediately go over to the attack).

Active phase:
Ulcers in the area of the larynx and/or vocal cords. Usually, this is not noticed at this stage. The voice may change but does not have to. The patient usually has slight pain in the larynx but does not notice it, word formation disorder, e.g., in so-called apoplectic insult.
Healing:
In the pcl-phase, the laryngeal mucosa swells considerably. Now, at the latest, the voice changes, and the disease is diagnosed when it is in the process of healing. So-called. Vocal cord polyps are excessive healing growth (keratinizing squamous epithelium) of the vocal cords.

Due to ulcers widening, the laryngeal lumen takes air more quickly.
