The Rosenhan Experiment

These-Real Life Testimonials were written by people who apply German New Medicine in their daily lives.

The Rosenhan Experiment: A Warning Sign Against Blind Conventional Medicine

In 1973, eight completely healthy individuals voluntarily had themselves admitted to psychiatric hospitals in the United States. None of them were actually ill – yet no one noticed.

The Rosenhan Experiment

Psychologist David Rosenhan wanted to find out whether professionals could reliably distinguish between mental health and illness.
The participants lied only once: they claimed to have heard voices – three words: “empty,” “hollow,” “thud.” That was enough: all eight were admitted.
Once they were in the hospital, they behaved completely normally and asked to be discharged. Yet every normal action was interpreted as a symptom: taking notes was seen as compulsion, politeness as pathological control.
Seven were diagnosed with schizophrenia, one with manic depression. No staff member recognized their sanity – but many patients did.
The average length of stay was 19 days; one remained for 52 days.
When Rosenhan published his study, the outrage was immense. One hospital later claimed it could detect pseudo-patients and identified 41 alleged impostors – even though Rosenhan had sent no one.
The experiment showed: diagnoses are often shaped by expectations and context. Once labeled, reality loses its significance.
The deeper lesson remains unsettling: perception can distort reality more powerfully than madness itself.

Commentary by GHK-Academy

If conventional organ-based medicine already has no clue and also no interest whatsoever in the cause of the presenting symptoms, then this lack of knowledge is topped once again by the branch of psychiatry.
The conventional physician at least has (in most cases) an organic symptom present against which he can wage his war, even if mostly to the detriment of the patient.
The psychiatrist, however, does not even have an organic symptom on which he can base his diagnosis and the resulting therapy. Sigmund Freud focused exclusively on psychological abnormalities (psychoses), but who is free from personal psychological peculiarities? And from when on is it a psychosis in need of treatment?
Dr. Hamer not only found the cause of our organ-related symptoms, but also the cause of our psychoses, namely the active conflicts that are in constellation with one another. And in the brain CT, he was even able to photograph these active conflict foci (HH).
Every psychiatrist should also be aware: as long as he takes care of the patient’s psychosis, he will never be able to find a solution. Only when the patient can resolve one of the involved active conflicts does the psychosis disappear instantly and spontaneously. The only exception is a constellation in the self-esteem conflict (connective tissue): here the psychosis (megalomania) remains until the end of the healing phase.
Another very dangerous component of this “pseudoscientific” psychiatry is that one can make inconvenient people, including political opponents, conveniently disappear behind locked psychiatric walls with a pure invented diagnosis, and no one will ever ask questions.
Anyone who has read Dr. Hamer’s book “One Against All” knows that with the same method, several attempts were made to eliminate Dr. Hamer, but he was always warned in time and smelled the trap.
A Dr. Semmelweis (childbed fever) was also locked up in a psychiatric institution and brought to death.
“Psychiatry” is also not a science, because it too consistently refuses Dr. Hamer’s scientific discoveries of the the biological laws of nature and the psychoses caused by the active constellations.
The currently established medical establishment unfortunately leaves us no choice but for everyone to study, understand, and apply Germanische Heilkunde for themselves. Whoever does not want to or cannot do that must simply remain in conventional medicine. Hence my repeatedly repeated appeal.
Learn Germanische Heilkunde for yourselves while you are healthy. Because when it becomes serious, there is no doctor who would dare to help you with Germanische Heilkunde. His medical license and his economic existence are more important to every doctor than the well-being of his patients.
