Hello,
my navel started to hurt, i.e. rather figuratively “to burn like fire”! It was irritated and reddened. While searching for the cause of the conflict, I came across the keyword “cloaca”.
I immediately knew my conflict. The day before, I had a job interview with our mayor for a position at the municipal yard. He told me that the duties also included the work of the sewage plant operator. He said that one would sometimes have to dive into the “shit” to clear possible blockages in the sewage plant! I hadn’t expected anything like that.
When I realized that this was what triggered my conflict, I became aware that I didn’t want this job and consequently didn’t submit an application. It wasn’t long before the irritation in my navel subsided, but I noticed that it smelled and was cheesy. Well, that passed relatively quickly too.
