A Mushroom Trip Gone Awry Results in Chickenpox:
With your help John I’ve figured out the DHS that caused my chickenpox!!
Feel free to include this in your list of testimonials.
It was the summer of 2011 and I was at the peak of my naughty teenage years. My two best friends and I thought it was a great idea to gather at his mom’s house while she wasn’t home for a magic mushroom trip.
We had each taken about 3.5 grams with a spoonful of nutella. The trip was going great until our friend’s dad showed up. He was a kind old hippie and wasn’t there to reprimand us, to the contrary he wanted to join us and asked if I had more shrooms. Regardless, his presence “threw off the vibe”.
The mushrooms were kicking in strongly, and my friend had us all get in a circle to breathe. Suddenly he stripped down butt-naked and darted off through the briar thicket and into the forest. We were all shocked and didn’t know what was happening.
I later learned from his perspective that he hallucinated the “sky people” calling his name and that the mother ship was leaving without him, all the while he was running naked through peoples’ front yards, he was eventually caught by the police, put in a straight jacket, and hauled away to the hospital in a paddy wagon.
Meanwhile, my remaining friend and I had no idea what was happening, he hid in a bathtub while I was freaking out, I felt responsible because I brought the mushrooms, in my head I was sure my friend was dead and that I would go to prison for the rest of my life. It was the epitome of a “bad trip”. Finally, my siblings rescued me and I eventually sobered up.
The experience met the criteria for a DHS:
Highly acute traumatic, unexpected, and isolative. I had been separated from my friend whom I didn’t want to be separated from, and I had a self devaluation conflict because I felt responsible for the fiasco.
I’m not sure what my conflict resolution was but three weeks after the event I broke out with greenish yellow pus filled chickenpox bumps all over my body. I had the symptoms for exactly three weeks. My best guess is that I reunited with my friend who ran off and that was my conflict resolution.
Comment GHK Academy
I have translated, written, commented on and published so many GHK testimonials. Some are exciting to read, others show the course of the conflict and the healing very vividly. Testimonials can be anything, but I have never laughed tears while reading a GHK testimonial, fantastically told.
I would also like to add that no microbes are active during the healing phase of the squamous epithelium (chickenpox), not even when water-filled blisters form. If there are yellow edges to the blisters, then the connective tissue has also reacted in the DHS, so a self-devaluation conflict was involved in the DHS. I can imagine this visually, and all over the body.
On the other hand, your case example also shows that one should be careful when experimenting with various mind-altering substances. One can quickly find oneself in a completely different reality, which nevertheless feels absolutely real, and one can experience very real conflicts in this other reality.
Thank you again.
